1. About the Studio

Tickhaus is an independent watch repair and conservation studio operating from 27 Nimmanhaemin Road, Suthep, Chiang Mai 50200, Thailand. Contact: [email protected] | +66 53 819 4027.

Tickhaus is not affiliated with any watch manufacturer, brand, or authorised service network.

2. Services Offered

Tickhaus offers the following watch repair and conservation services:

• Quick Inspection & Adjustment — A bench check covering crown function, hand alignment, strap fit, and timing observation, with minor adjustments and a written summary. Starting from ฿3,900.
• Strap, Crystal & Dial Care — Replacement or refit of straps, crystals, and crowns, with dial and hand cleaning where appropriate. Starting from ฿14,000.
• Heirloom Conservation Project — Documentation-led care for sentimental timepieces, including condition photography and a written plan agreed before work begins. Starting from ฿31,500.

Prices listed are starting prices. Final pricing depends on the specific condition of the watch and the scope of work agreed. All pricing is confirmed before any work commences.

3. Accepting a Service

Engagement of a service begins when you bring or send a watch to the studio and the studio provides a written or verbal confirmation of the service to be performed and the associated price.

No work will begin until the scope and price have been confirmed with you. For the Heirloom Conservation Project, a written work plan will be provided and your agreement obtained before any handling occurs.

You may withdraw from a confirmed service before work has started without charge. Once work has begun, reasonable costs may apply for any work already completed.

4. Payment

Payment is due upon collection of your watch, or as otherwise agreed in writing. The studio accepts Thai Baht (THB). Additional payment methods are confirmed at intake.

The studio reserves the right to retain a watch until payment has been received in full for work completed.

5. Handling and Care

Tickhaus will handle all watches with reasonable care and in accordance with accepted watchmaking practice. The studio documents the condition of items received.

Watch repair and conservation involves inherent risk. While every effort is made to identify risks in advance and discuss them with you, the studio cannot accept responsibility for pre-existing faults, hidden damage, or failures that become apparent only during the course of work.

If an unexpected finding arises during work, the studio will pause and contact you to discuss before proceeding.

6. Timelines

Estimated timelines are provided as guidance at intake. The studio will notify you if a timeline changes before the originally agreed date. Timelines may be affected by parts sourcing, the complexity of the work, or factors outside the studio's control.

The studio does not accept liability for losses arising from delay unless caused by the studio's own negligence.

7. Uncollected Watches

When a watch is ready for collection, you will be notified. If a watch remains uncollected for more than 60 days after notification without communication from you, the studio will make further contact attempts using the details provided at intake.

If a watch remains uncollected for more than 180 days and no contact has been established, the studio reserves the right to deal with the item in accordance with applicable Thai law governing unclaimed property.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Tickhaus's liability for any claim arising from a service is limited to the amount paid for that service.

The studio does not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under Thai consumer law.

9. Website Use

The content of this website is provided for general information. While we aim to keep information current and accurate, we make no representations about its completeness or suitability for any particular purpose.

You may not use this website in any way that is unlawful, harmful to others, or that infringes the rights of any third party. All content on this website remains the property of Tickhaus and may not be reproduced without permission.

10. Privacy

Personal data submitted through this website or shared in the course of using our services is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these terms from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the website or our services following a change constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Thailand.
